˹ 277 - CHILDREN, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
˹ 285 - All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient : all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
˹ 292 - For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of Him who hath subjected the same in hope ; Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
˹ 485 - And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat : for hitherto ye were not able to bear it. Neither yet now are ye able.
˹ 451 - For the mystery of iniquity doth already work : only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming...
˹ 284 - Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh ; yea though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
˹ 435 - Then Judas, which had betrayed Him. when he saw that He was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
˹ 269 - Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths : but I say unto you, Swear not at all : neither by heaven ; for it is God's throne : nor by the earth ; for it is his footstool...
˹ 458 - For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
˹ 370 - For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh : but he is a Jew who is one inwardly ; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
