˹ 335 - The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul : the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart : the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
˹ 115 - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God : for God cannot be tempted with, evil, neither tempteth he any man : but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
˹ 373 - Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
˹ 70 - ... being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
˹ 49 - And he said. Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
˹ 120 - Woe unto thee, Chorazin ! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
˹ 335 - More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold : sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned : and in keeping of them there is great reward.
˹ 379 - Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling: for it is God that worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
˹ 156 - For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
