˹ 23 - SPEAK gently ! it is better far To rule by love than fear : Speak gently ! let not harsh words mar The good we might do here.
˹ 33 - I will preach the Law whereof the Lord hath said unto me, " thou art my " Son : this day have I begotten thee. Desire of me, " and I will give thee the Heathen for thine inheritance, " and the utmost parts of the earth for thy possession.
˹ 136 - And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes : and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
˹ 140 - And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required; and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
˹ 136 - Then she runneth and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
˹ 133 - And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
˹ 128 - Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness : and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. 21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
˹ 32 - I have meat to eat, that ye know not of. My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
˹ 69 - JERUSALEM on high My song and city is, My home whene'er I die, The centre of my bliss. O happy place, When shall I be My God with Thee, To see Thy face?
