˹éÒ 243 - Trust in the Lord, and do good ; So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
˹éÒ 328 - If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had 247 swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us...
˹éÒ 70 - But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him; for the Lord seeth not as man seeth ; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
˹éÒ 95 - Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
˹éÒ 96 - This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand, and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
˹éÒ 269 - Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
˹éÒ 303 - There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds : but the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children ; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom and was unto him as a daughter.
˹éÒ 97 - The Lord is my light and my salvation ; whom shall I fear ? the Lord is the strength of my life ; of whom shall I be afraid ? 2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
˹éÒ 307 - HAVE mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving-kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
˹éÒ 269 - OUT of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
