˹éÒ 240 - The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart : the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
˹éÒ 238 - Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.
˹éÒ 241 - Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
˹éÒ 240 - Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth : thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them...
˹éÒ 239 - O sing of his grace, whose robe is the light, whose canopy space; his chariots of wrath the deep thunder clouds form, and dark is his path on the wings of the storm.
˹éÒ 240 - GUIDE me, O thou great Jehovah, Pilgrim through this barren land : I am weak, but thou art mighty ; Hold me with thy powerful hand : Bread of heaven, Feed me till I want no more.
˹éÒ 199 - And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden ;* and there he put the man whom he had formed ; and out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food...
˹éÒ 242 - Lead, Kindly Light, amid the encircling gloom, Lead Thou me on! The night is dark, and I am far from home, Lead Thou me on! Keep Thou my feet; I do not ask to see The distant scene, — one step enough for me.
˹éÒ 242 - Beloved, now are we the sons of God; and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know, that when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
˹éÒ 242 - O'er moor and fen, o'er crag and torrent, till The night is gone, And with the morn those angel faces smile Which I have loved long since, and lost awhile.
