˹ 247 - Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
˹ 265 - I heard the voice of Jesus say, " I am this dark world's Light ; Look unto Me, thy morn shall rise, And all thy day be bright." I looked to Jesus, and I found In Him my Star, my Sun ; And in that Light of life I'll walk Till travelling days are done ! H.
˹ 193 - I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying: Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.
˹ 259 - But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
˹ 365 - Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, but he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
˹ 221 - But their minds were blinded : For until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament ; which vail is done away in Christ.
˹ 117 - I made them lay their hands in mine, and swear To reverence the King as if he were Their conscience, and their conscience as their King, To break the heathen and uphold the Christ...
˹ 101 - I will rise now, and go about the city In the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth : I sought him, but I found him not.
˹ xxiii - But Peter and John answered and said unto them; Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
˹ 203 - Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works ; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
