˹ iii - Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
˹ xxiv - Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites ! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, and say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
˹ x - Think not that I am come to send peace on earth; I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-inlaw against her mother-in-law ; and a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
˹ viii - Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John ; Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost.
˹ xv - And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
˹ iii - Who is gone into Heaven, and is on the Right Hand of God ; Angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto Him.
˹ xxv - And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
˹ xx - Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden ; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid. There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day ; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
˹ xix - And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city; and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them...
˹ v - And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought : and he went and beheaded him in the prison, 28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel ; and the damsel gave it to her mother.
