Research on 16th century ecclesiastical history and Christian arts in the 19th and 20th century. Matthieu Arnold, since 1997 professor of the History of Christianity at the Faculty of Protestant Theology of the University of Strasbourg and since 2002 member of the Instituts Universitaire de France, has collaborated on the edition of Bucer's correspondence since 1995. He has published with Berndt Hamm "Martin Bucer zwischen Luther und Zwingli," (Tubingen, 2003). He has published several works on Luther's correspondence. Christian Krieger has been a collaborator on the edition of Bucer's correspondence since 1995. He has published with Marc Lienhard the volume "Martin Bucer and Sixteenth-Century Europe" (Brill, 1993).
