This book is the result of a minute revision of the 18th German edition of Otto's Grammar, with the addition of the vocabularies (revised) of the preceding American edition. Errors have been corrected, and several articles, as well as the index, to the fullness of which especial attention is invited, entirely rewritten. The selections in the Appendix are those of the American edition. The Alphabetical List of irregular Verbs (from Sanders' Manual) is believed to be more complete than any previously published in English. WILLIAM COOK. CAMBRIDGE, MASS., December, 1880. |
