˹éÒ 94 - God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all, and upon all them that believe; for there is no difference : for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus...
˹éÒ 98 - Fear not : for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name ; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee ; . and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee : when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned ; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour : I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
˹éÒ 95 - Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
˹éÒ 65 - And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child : and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
˹éÒ ix - I profess, likewise, that in the mass there is offered to God a true, proper, and propitiatory sacrifice for the living and the dead...
˹éÒ 158 - And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
˹éÒ 189 - Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread ? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
˹éÒ 99 - And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
˹éÒ 86 - Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee : the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
˹éÒ ix - I constantly hold that there is a Purgatory, and that the souls, therein detained, are helped by the suffrages of the faithful.
