˹ 25 - In case of drugs, if, when sold under or by a name recognized in the United States Pharmacopoeia, it differs from the standard of strength, quality or purity laid down therein. Second, If, when sold under or by a name not recognized in the United States Pharmacopoeia, or other standard work of materia medica, it differs materially from the standard
˹ 350 - of which board shall hold their office for the term of one, two, and three years, respectively, from the date of their appointment and until their successors are appointed and qualified, said respective terms of office to be designated in their several appointments, and thereafter there shall be one member of said board appointed each year,
˹ 25 - facture for sale, offer for sale, or sell, any drug or article of food which is adulterated within the meaning of this act. SEC. 2. The term "drug" as used in this act shall include all medicines for internal or external use, antiseptics, disinfectants, and cosmetics. The term "food
˹ 261 - upon the duties of his office shall execute a bond to the state inspector in the sum of five thousand (5,000) dollars, with such sureties as may be approved by the state inspector. Such bond shall be filed with the state inspector, shall be conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties herein

The state inspector shall render to the state auditor a detailed account of all the receipts and disbursements of his office, and shall also incorporate a copy of such report in his annual report to the governor.
˹ 26 - included in the provisions of this act, shall furnish to any person interested or demanding the same, who shall apply to him for the purpose, and shall tender him the value of the same, a sample sufficient for analysis, of any such drug or article of food which is in his possession. whoever
˹ 26 - selling any adulterated article of food or drug under the provisions of this act, shall be adjudged to pay in addition to the penalties hereinbefore provided for, all necessary costs and expenses incurred in inspecting and analyzing such adulterated articles of which said person may have been guilty of manufacturing, selling, or offering for sale.
