˹éÒ 221 - Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: 14.
˹éÒ 175 - How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? and how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
˹éÒ 35 - Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, "One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
˹éÒ 92 - To whom then will ye liken GOD ? or what likeness will ye compare unto Him ? The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains.
˹éÒ 209 - There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.
˹éÒ 176 - For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
˹éÒ 37 - Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place : for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
˹éÒ 47 - Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people...
˹éÒ 108 - For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves, and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
