˹ 255 - I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world.
˹ 371 - Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest : but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
˹ 99 - Lord, Lord, open unto us ; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are : then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know not whence ye are ; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
˹ 382 - And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
˹ 123 - Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. And I am glad .for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe ; nevertheless let us go unto him.
˹ 225 - Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
˹ 113 - But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: and bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat and be merry: for this my son was dead, and is alive again ; he was lost, and is found.
˹ 322 - Then shall they begin to say to the mountains : Fall upon us ; and to the hills : Cover us. For if in the green wood they do these things, what shall be done in the dry ? And there were also two other malefactors led with Him to be put to death.
˹ 157 - For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath, shall be given: and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him. 27 But those mine enemies which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
˹ 145 - How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God ! And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God...
