But the hand of the diligent maketh rich. Blessings are upon the head of the righteous: But the name of the wicked shall rot. 5 6 7 The wise in heart will receive commandments: 8 foolish of lips. The integrity of the upright shall guide them: Riches profit not in the day of wrath: But righteousness delivereth from death. 2 3 4 But they that deal treacherously shall be taken When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall 7 And the hope of iniquity perisheth. The righteous is delivered out of trouble, And the wicked cometh in his stead. 8 With his mouth the godless man destroyeth his 9 But through knowledge shall the righteous be When it goeth well with the righteous, the city 10 And when the wicked perish, there is shouting. |
