And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and its lamps, and its tongs, and its snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, where10 with they minister unto it: and they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it upon 'the frame. 1Or, a bar 11 And upon the golden altar they shall spread

a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in the staves thereof: 12 and they shall take all the vessels of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them. with a covering of sealskin, and shall put 13 them on the frame. And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple 14 cloth thereon: and they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, the firepans, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering 15 of sealskin, and put in the staves thereof. And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it but they shall not touch the 'sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting. 16 And the charge of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the charge of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, the sanctuary, and the furniture thereof.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto 18 Aaron, saying, Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the

in, and appoint them every one to his service
and to his burden: but they shall not go in 20
to see the 'sanctuary even for a moment, lest
they die.

Ánd the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 21 Take the sum of the sons of Gershon also, by 22 their fathers' houses, by their families; from 23 thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in Heb. war the to wait upon the service, to do the work warfare. in the tent of meeting. This is the service 24 of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens: they shall bear the 25 curtains of the tabernacle, and the tent of meeting, its covering, and the covering of sealskin that is above upon it, and the screen for the door of the tent of meeting; and the hangings 26 of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatsoever shall be done with them, therein shall they serve. At the commandment of 27

Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burden. This is 28 the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the tent of meeting: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number 29 them by their families, by their fathers' houses; from thirty years old and upward even unto 30 fifty years old shalt thou number them, every

one that entereth upon the service, to do the 31 work of the tent of meeting. And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tent of meeting; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the 32 pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof; and the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall'appoint the instruments of 1Or, number 33 the charge of their burden. This is the service

of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tent of meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

34 And Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers' 35 houses, from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for work in the tent of meet36 ing: and those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred 37 and fifty. These are they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that did serve in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, by their families, and by their 39 fathers' houses, from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for work in the tent 40 of meeting, even those that were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers' houses, were two thousand and six hundred 41 and thirty. These are they that were numbered

of the families of the sons of Gershon, all that

did serve in the tent of meeting, whom Moses
and Aaron numbered according to the com-
mandment of the LORD.

And those that were numbered of the families 42
of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their
fathers' houses, from thirty years old and up- 43
ward even unto fifty years old, every one that
entered upon the service, for work in the tent
of meeting, even those that were numbered of 44
them by their families, were three thousand and
two hundred. These are they that were num- 45
bered of the families of the sons of Merari,
whom Moses and Aaron numbered according
to the commandment of the LORD by the hand
of Moses.

All those that were numbered of the Levites, 46 whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers' houses, from thirty years old and up- 47 ward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the tent of meeting, even those that were numbered of them, were 48 eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore. According to the commandment of the LORD 49 they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and 'according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I 5 Command the children of Israel, that they put 2 out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is unclean by the dead both male and female shall ye put 3 out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camp, in the midst whereof I dwell. And the children of Israel did so, and 4 put them out without the camp: as the LORD

spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 6 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that 7 soul be guilty; then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall make restitution for his guilt in full, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him in 8 respect of whom he hath been guilty. But if the man have no kinsman to whom restitution may be made for the guilt, the restitution for guilt which is made unto the LORD shall be the priest's; besides the ram of the atonement, whereby atonement shall be made for him. 9 And every heave offering of all the holy things. of the children of Israel, which they present 10 unto the priest, shall be his. And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 12 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a 13 trespass against him, and a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken in the act; and the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, 15 and she be not defiled: then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and shall bring her oblation for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is a meal offering of jealousy, a meal offering of memorial,
